Clinton’s Trousers
SO a pretty odd title for a blog il give you that!
however its a reasonably good synonym for y form on the poker tables lately lol
been grinding pretty hard of late in my new “prosperous living” policy” – this policy basically involves
1) Drinking WAY WAY less and going out once/twice a week MAXIMUM
2) Eating healthier
3) Having a consistent sleep pattern
4) making SHITLOADS of money
So far mixed results – my sleeping pattern is improved altho i now sleep 6am – 2/4pm and live all night which is a bit shit, im eating a bit healthier bought some fruit and have only had 2 takeaways this year! NOT BEEN OUT ONCE this year wiiiiiiiiii so thts going to plan, and finally number 4….
played a lil over 20,500 hands so far this month and here is a link to the grpah so far – the thick green line is ACTUAL profit and the thin green line is all-in EV representing how i’ve been running in all-in pots
you can probably see where the clintons trousers metaphor comes in! as you can see 14,000 hands in was looking like I might be on to kick start the year with a $10k month, but hands 15,000-20.000 seem to have ruined that expectation for the time being! this has been a pretty upsetting downswing but luckily it happened so fast that I barely noticed it lol and following 6 straight loosing sessions totaling nearly $5,000 i have since returned to the land of $0.50/$1 and have since regained about $1100 of it.
its kinda tough but HU plo is notoriously high varience lol and swings such as this are just gonna happen – and after all as bad for business as clinton’s trouser antics were – HE HAD A TON OF FUN! probably il stay off the cigars though!
other news aside i have been railing tom mac, jamie, jake and rob out in the bahamas, dunno if i mentioned this in my last blog but rob’s report of his PCA main event antics are hilarious. following a open from a wide opener, and a 3bet from someone young, a 4bet from a scandi and a 5bet from another young agro internet kid Rob looks down at 94offsuit and fins a 6bet shove !!!! such an AWESOME MOVE – however its awesomeness is eclipsed by the scandi having KK and failing to believe rob has AA lol – a scandi 4bets and somehow has KK – rob ran baaaaad lol so ye that was pretty cool i know of VERY few people in the world who cold 6bet 94offsuit in a $10k event but rob is definatly one of them!
I’ll let Jamie report his Bahamas news in person but expect some very sick inexcusable brags lol
ALSO wp to ash who had a nice score in a $50 freezeout on pstars the other night taking the whole tourney down WP WP sir
NO LIVE POKER HAS BEEN PLAYED THANK THE LORD
nostra terra are performing decently and sitting on a nice steady 1.2p (i bought at 1.14 so profit can be made!!)
